What is an EPC?
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) provides a rating of a property's eneregy efficiency and displays this as a graph.
This graph is designed to easily identify where improvements in energy efficiency could be made.
If you are buying or selling a home you now need to obtain an EPC. The certificate provides 'A' to 'G' ratings
for the building, with 'A' being the most energy efficient and 'G' being the least.
Why do I need an EPC?
EPC's are now a legal requirement whenever a building is built, sold or rented out. The EPC contains a detailed recommendations
about how to reduce energy consumption, reduce running costs, and reduce your carbon dioxide emmissions.
